I’ve been studying data analytics since March 2022, but I still need a few more months of study to reach a level where I can contribute to an organization as a junior data analyst.
SEASONED, BILINGUAL BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL PASSIONATE ABOUT DATA
Looking for a data analytics job in January 2023
Data is growing exponentially. I want to analyze data and make visualizations
to help the stakeholders solve business problems.
WHY JANUARY 2023 ?
WHY PART TIME ?
I learned enough about data analytics to contribute to an organization or a project as an entry-level analyst. However, I realize that I barely scratched the surface of this field. I will continue studying throughout 2023 in order to keep increasing my knowledge of the industry and acquire new skills.
Ideally, I’d like to work 20 hours per week. I can adapt based on my future employer’s needs and my schedule
IN-PERSON WORK
My preference is to physically go to the office. I feel that I will be more helpful to my colleagues and that I will learn more about the industry and the organization if I show up at work. It’s also nice to get to know your colleagues and the organizational culture.
A bit of flexibility from my future employer would be appreciated. For example, who needs to do an hour and a half of defensive driving in a snow storm when you can simply work from home that day ?
WHERE DO I WANT TO WORK ?
I live on the South Shore, approximately 1 km away from the train station and with easy access to the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke subway station. Therefore, I’m looking for work on the South Shore or for an organization easily accessible by subway or commuter train.
SKILL SET
I’ve been studying the following: data analytics methodology, data visualizations, client-ready data visualizations, data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, R and SQL) and statistics.
I will keep updating my portfolio so people can get an understanding of my abilities for the above-mentioned skills.
ABOUT ME
I’m a bilingual (French and English), seasoned business professional with a love for data. After decades as a successful business developer and entrepreneur, I was both excited and frustrated trying to make sense of the data (or the lack of).
In the next stage of my professional life, I want to analyze data and make visualizations to help stakeholders solve their business problems.
